This is a new feature of the blog I'm going to start. Every day a computer related tip will be posted giving tips, commands and much more, all helping you master your technical skills.
If you use Linux and like to have a clean system, you're going to love this tip. Lets start by cleaning out your temporary directory, the folder with all the junk from viewing pdf's & Images, etc. On some systems the directory is cleared when you restart the computer, or the programs clean up after themselves, in my case they don't. Hence every month I have to manually clean out the directory. If you want to do the same go into the /tmp file as root (so you have the privileges) then delete what's needed such as files in /tmp/kde-username (username as in your accounts name).
